MyGuy holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate — the gold standard in U.S. aviation maintenance. This dual certification qualifies him to work on virtually every mechanical system of a certificated aircraft.
Airframe (A)
FAA-certified to inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft structures, hydraulic systems, landing gear, flight controls, and all airframe components.
Powerplant (P)
FAA-certified to overhaul, repair, and test aircraft engines — including reciprocating, turbine, and turboprop powerplant systems.
FAA Issued Certificate
Issued by the Federal Aviation Administration under 14 CFR Part 65. Authorizes return-to-service approval and maintenance sign-offs on certificated aircraft.
